Is ZOE worth it?
I was happily walking my dog enjoying the quiet woodlands in the summertime, when I heard footsteps pounding behind me. Panic. Who is chasing me? Should I run?
I turned around to assess the danger.
Only to find a smiley, friendly looking lady (albeit a bit puffed out after the chase) who I’d actually passed at the last gate. I immediately felt bad, tapping my pockets wondering what I had dropped - how kind that she chased me down.
But what she asked next surprised me, “I’m so sorry, I just had to ask you…I noticed the ZOE patch on your arm. How are you finding it?”
She was the first, but not the last. It genuinely shocked me how many people would ask about it and recognise it when they spotted the yellow branded plaster on my arm (which covers the continuous glucose monitor you wear at the start of the programme). We’re all walking adverts. They’ve definitely got their marketing on-point.
So cue a few weeks prior to this, a company I was carrying out some nutrition consultancy work for asked me if I’d complete ZOE for them. I knew there was a lot of buzz about the ZOE programme, I’d already worked with some clients in clinic who had completed it and had a real interest in experiencing it myself. However, I didn’t want to make the pretty hefty investment when it covered a lot of principles I’ve studied and understand. But with this chance of someone paying for me, hell yes.
So, what did I think of ZOE after completing 4 months on the personalised nutrition programme?
I have no affiliation to ZOE and this is my complete, honest, unfiltered opinion. Listen below to find out…
